The room was spacious and had a clean toilet, we had all the necessary amenities. The owner of the guesthouse was incredibly helpful and friendly, went the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. The location was convenient, close to the pier and a beautiful beach.

The bathrooms were located in a separate house instead of inside the rooms, but it wasn't a major inconvenience as they were nearby.

The owner, Meen, went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. He helped me with everything from getting transportation to recommending activities. the hostel itself was comfortable and clean, and it was just a short walk to the beautiful Laem Had beach. Meen even offered to drive me to a beach in the south of the island and picked me up later in the day. I highly recommend Backpack Hostel Kohyaoyai!

The hostel is located within walking distance to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, allowing guests to easily enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. the spacious rooms provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. the owner is known for his helpfulness and will go out of his way to ensure guests have a pleasant stay.

There are not many places to eat in walking distance, but the owner is kind enough to drive guests to a local restaurant on the other side of town for a tasty lunch.

Air Conditioning: Despite the scorching heat outside, the air conditioning in the rooms was a lifesaver. It kept us cool and comfortable, as if we were being gently hugged by a refreshing breeze.

Kitchen Closed: Unfortunately, due to being the last travelers for the season, the kitchen was closed. But fret not, as we were still able to use the crockery and cutlery provided.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable, like sleeping on a yacht anchored ashore. The crew, especially the 1st officer who served a delicious Cafe Latte, was really nice. The location was superb, close to a beautiful beach, with a scooter available for exploring the area.

I recently stayed at Backpack Hostel on Ko Yao Yai for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. The owner, Meen, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the island. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds, clean toilets and showers, and a separate sink area. The hostel also offered a free light American breakfast and fast wifi. I highly recommend renting a motorbike for easy exploration of the safe and friendly island. a great place to stay with a friendly and attentive owner.
